Lyn was born in Dublin and spent most of her childhood in France and England. Lyn studied art at Kingston Polytechnic and gained a BA (Hons) degree at Wimbledon School of Art. Having lived in Teddington for many years, she moved to Brighton in 2006.
Lyn finds inspiration in her immediate environment as well as places she visits in England and abroad. With vibrant colours and strong rhythm of line, she brings new life to places, flowers and day-to-day objects. Lyn's artwork is in private and corporate collections in England, USA and Australia and she has exhibited widely in the UK.
Apart from Shoreham Art Gallery, Lyn is also a member of the Kemptown Arts Association, the Adur Art Collective and Teddington Artists. She also has a permanent exhibition at Busby & Wilds in Kemp Town, and Blanch House Hotel, Brighton. More of her work can be seen on her website at www.rohdefineart.co.uk.
