Polly Finch

Polly sees herself as predominately a ‘paper artist’, working with a ‘very sharp’ scalpel to hand cut papercuts from acid free paper, along with making paper sculptures from old books, Japanese paper, driftwood, wire and beach pebbles. Each sculpture is housed in a wooden box.
Her work is influenced by the sea, nature and architecture, whilst the pieces often incorporated quotations and lines from poems.

Each of Polly’s pieces is unique and she would like the viewer to be able create their own story from them.
