Sandra lives in a rural part of West Sussex along with her husband, German Shepherd dog, a donkey, Shetland Pony and assorted chickens, where she is inspired by the changing seasons in the surrounding countryside, a love of wild life and the coast not far away.
Sandra paints in watercolour as well as ink and mixed media to create loose interpretations of a variety of subjects. She particularly enjoys working wet-in-wet, which allows the paint, to some extent, 'do it's own thing' giving sometimes unexpected 'happy accidents'.
Sandra has exhibited and sold work at a number of venues locally and one of her Rainbow Sheep went off to Australia. Since 2011 she has been a member of the Association of Sussex Artists.
