Time Recycled
A characterful handmade clock created from mild steel, with the clock face cut from an old saw blade. The naturally rusted finish celebrates the history of the materials, giving each piece its own distinctive industrial character. Fitted with a quality battery-operated movement, it brings together reclaimed metal, craftsmanship and useful sculpture. Stainless steel and copper clocks are also available.
Summer Tour of the South East - work in progress...
by Slawek
I typically put any photography on hold during the summer. The mostly bland and harsh lighting characteristic of the season is not conducive to my photographic style (although otherwise I’ve been greatly enjoying the weather over the past couple of months). This year, however, I decided to break the mold and force myself to find something that could work even in these trying conditions. I turned my attention to our beautiful villages and rural towns.
Here’s just a sampling of what I’ve wrought in the last few days. It’s still a work in progress – I have more local outings planned for the immediate future. Some of the photos will probably appear at the Gallery at some stage, at least as greeting cards.
Friend
by Bebe Bird
Bebe is always looking out for different bird life to create in ceramics.
This small cameo is made up of a stoneware field and fence. The birds, a crow and 3 red legged partridges are earthenware which are added after the initial firing. The fence wire is twisted stripped electrical wire.

Fruity Tiles
by Angela Evans
Angela’s fruit and vegetable tiles blend lush garden imagery with the whimsical presence of snails, capturing the quiet beauty and gentle humour found in nature. It’s a celebration of growth, patience, and the joy of small details – two worlds brought together in clay, in a way that’s both playful and heartfelt.
Come and discover these delightful tiles and more from Angela Evans at the gallery this summer.
Child of The Earth and this Puddle
The personal connections that our customers have with art works in the gallery are always wonderful to hear.
“Child of the Earth and this Puddle” began from images of my grandson dancing to “The Old Bamboo” song from Chitty Chatty Bang Bang, holding his stick high. And this developed to a keen young gardener with his hoe, and then to a water fanatic with hose. The latest interpretation held an old crank.
This chimed with a client who was the Gofer for his car mechanic dad, when they had a job on in there family garage. Such memories and personal meanings crossing the generations make all that work worthwhile.
